Chapter 4 - The Battle for Urshlon Tower

General Summary

The party, now finishing off their looting, managed to pester Seldwig to bring them toward Urshlon Tower. Seldwig would warn the party that they were in danger of harpies in the forest and to be careful. As they progressed through the forest, they did indeed get attacked by harpies. The songs of the birds appealed to some, but after a short scrap, the party proved victorious against the creatures. Then they decided to attack Urshlon Tower in the afternoon of that day.   The party quickly bombarded a group of orcs and scouts working for the Black Knights to get to the tower. Seldwig was taken out with two arrows, and the party faced bombardment. However, the scouts rung the alarms, sending a troop of Black Knights and their officers to run after the party. The party escaped, going back into the forests of Caleah as the bandits gave a bit of chase. The bandits proceeded to tell them to run away from their business.
"Yeah that's right! And don't come back!" -Black Knight Henry
However, after a nice long rest and some time to regroup and plan, the ranger Seldwig admitted to the party he was indeed a former Black Knight and as such was not to be trusted. However, he told them he joined their group after learning a dangerous sorceress, Qenlynn Millerstone, was behind some of the Black Knight dealings. The party shrugged the info off, still not trusting Seldwig. However, they decided an attack at night would be the best course of action.   The party ran back to Urshlon Tower, keen on taking it and turning in Sir Edward. They sliced through some of the bandits, and encountered a Black Knight officer named Wilbert with his troops. Wilbert proved to be a stunning foe, using his skill with a scimitar to keep the party at bay. Then, Slytoff decided to send a thunder wave. The wave alerted Sir Edward, at the top of the tower, who began to warn Lady Qenlynn who was in the room with him. Once the party slew Wilbert, Lady Qenlynn took the situation into her own hands, firing a powerful Fireball right into their vicinity and knocking many of them out. Thus the chapter ended.
