Fabian Wastes

The Fabian Waste is a massive section of of space thousands of light years. It makes up roughly one third of Fabian Space, and was once filled with some of the most populous worlds in Fabian Space.
No one no for sure what caused the destrustion within the Fabian Wastes. There are hundreds of theories as to what caused the Fabian Wastes. Everything from the Skoll of legend to common war and plague. Almost three and half thousand years since the Fall of Fabia and creation of the Fabian Wastes more questions then answers remain.
One thing is known for sure is that one does not venture into the Fabian Waste if one has another choice. Filled with mine fields, and whispers of ghost fleets, and powerful A.I. wanderers. A safe path in the Fabian Wastes does not remain safe for long. Pirates and raiders, and all manner of cruel form of Mann come from the Fabian Wastes. 
Nations along the Fabian Wastes suffer endless attacks from all manner of things. What remains of the Fabian Dominion has lost more then one fleet in the Fabian Wastes.
