The Tapestry of Millicifian

The tapestry of Milicifian is one of the most remarkable and renowned pieces of this museums collection, it details the rise to and fall from power of the Knight - King Milicifian.
It is also, due to the materials used and likely its much debated subject matter, one of the most adapted and revised pieces in our collection. Some of the changes, as you can see here and here *the Lead Stitch-o-grapher gestures to a section of the tapestry where the background silk clearly changes for a 2 metre section before reverting back to the original colour* are fairly major, in this change an entire section has either been completely removed and replaced, or an extra section has been added in.   The tapestry also denotes many smaller and far subtler changes, for instance, some of you may be familiar with the discovery only last year that Mortig, Milicifians right hand women and lover was in fact a man, at some point in the tapestries history work has been undertaken to add more feminine features and longer hair to all depictions of Mortig, thus changing the story.   More recently, one of our Junior Stitch-o-graphers was analysing a section on the battle of Johr Keep and discovered that many of the flags present in the enemy army, the Caldian kingdom, were in fact of different nations, showing a far more united front against Milicifians forces even at this early stage in his campaigns.
