Lowe's illuminating Giga Heat Transporter (Light) Cart

When one asks of the greatest and most terrible developments in recent military thinking, it is in the use of concentrated light that we find our undisputed answer, used to terrible effect when first deployed 50 years ago, there is now not a city in the world worth a damn that doesn't have at least one mounted on it's walls or elsewise ready for battle. In the great painting of the battle of Muur by Donasi Toof, we see the use of a singular Light cart to great effect, focussing a beam of light upon the defenders, dazzling and burning them away from the walls, created by Lowes and Co. The painting, Victory Parade by the same, shows General Cibirious standing atop the very same Light carts mirrored array after the battle. Lit softly from underneath as an allusion to the carts light making properties. Notably the light outlines the painters name on the scabbard, a reminder of his own sense of grandeur and importance in documenting the battle, that he is the scabbard for the sword, the vector of its potrayal to the masses.

Power Generation

By bouncing Magical energy in a confined mirrored space, the speed and intensity of the light grow. These charges are kept in bucket sized containers, totally sealed before use.

Propulsion

A team of beasts of burden, or 20 grumbling Goblins on a bad day.

Weapons & Armament

The Primary Light Array is the sole weapon, although due to their value they are often targeted by enemy cavalry, thus the Engineers are armed with hand crossbows to drive them off.

Armor and defense

Metal plates cover the top of the cart from enemy fire and miss aimed light.

Communication Tools & Systems

These devices are typically kept well behind battle lines on an elevated position, carrier pigeons and messengers are often used to direct fire.

Any nation state wanting to play on the world stage has one, while 50 years ago there was only 1 or 2 in existance.

Complement / Crew

A crew of 6 are needed, The Light guider, Targeter, Callabrator and Artificar engineer, then two engineers who turn the device as ordered

Cargo & Passenger Capacity

beside a standing platform behind the array, there is a single seat to the side for the Targeter, and two seats below for the enginners to use the moving winches.
