Cheesequake, NJ
Cheesequake (pronounced CHESS-eh-OAK) [i know, just, i know its weird but it's pretty close to real look it up] is a township in New Jersey. Built off a junction point for several highways and a commuter/freight railway, the town has a few more bustling points near the higways, at the local shops near the train station, and at the chessequake mall. Quieter suburban areas extend off of there with a mix of dutch colonial and victorian houses (mostly skewed to dutch colonial, occasional stucco house from people who dont know better) and out into the conservancy/arboretum/general pine barrens.
This world has some elements of urban fantasy and science fiction. like, take this world, make some of the people into deer-people and some of them into dragon-people, blend spellcasting into chemistry and medicine, allow for both some supernatural elements that are effects of physical things (like I want a hard magic system, y'know? like alchemy, except all I know about this stuff's from chemistry youtube channels). Also allow for artificial intellegence, abandoned experiments gone wrong, and a world very slowly getting quieter as space travel expands to the masses (sort of late game). all combined its sort of an urban fantasy science fiction soft apocalypse/solarpunk(late game) comedy about a group of friends just trying to navigate their lives.
that's, a lot.
