Order of Eairio Organization in Chasuria | World Anvil

Order of Eairio

Nuns ahead of their times, they worked The Sersiarmead without demanding payment or respect. They merely worked. They treated the pauper and the nobleman that came to their door the same.

The order of Eairio was a mainly Atrilouian order of nuns, following the religion of Daiustrism. They were named for Eairio, King of the Spirits, who is asscoiated with healing.

History

Founding

The Order of Eairio, founded by Ekya, a poor and lowly member of the lower gentry, in the year 432. She was to wander places such as Jalriois and onwards, despite being almost the width of the continent away, spreading her message of sanitation and an end to poor living condition for the poor.

The Sersiarmead

Eventually, the nuns settled in Cuerero, somewhere in the 450's, after Ekya's death. Despite that, a majority of nuns in the early era were to be from Atrilou, seeing the pilgramage through the Areatus Mountains to be their test of worthiness.

Re-named

Orignially, the order was named 'Shok Pawstëmom Yit ĥaw Yul Nashi'. We are unsure when the name change occured. Most asume somewhere in the mid 800's DEV, when spirits began to bleed over into the mortal realm (thanks to the Spirit War), and when the first mentions of Eairio were recorded.

Fall

Their policies of 'first come, first serve' grew to be unpopular with the nobility, thanks to little compromise on such rules. This included situations where nobles and commoners both came to them. Normally, it would be dictated that the person with higher stauts should be served first. Eventually, such ire turned to pressure on the leglislators under the king, most against the order of the modern day, ending with Edict of Cozódeis , in which they were disolved and evicted from The Sersiarmead.

Agendas

Their main agenda was to do with health and sanitation. They had decent luck when it came to healing, compartive to others doctors of their time, thanks to their focus on good living quarters where possible.
