Early life

Terrance Flint was a son of the tailors.
His ma' and pa' were so famous for their craft, even kings came to order their clothes at the workshop.
They taught little Terry how to act and look like a noble. Every time they went to the royal court people thought they were another noble family. But they also let him play with other kids from the town whenever they weren't going to the court.

Thanks to that, little Terrance learned to act. And he loved playing various roles.
When he was eight, weird things started to happen around him. The bales of cloth would start to fly, weird lights showed up at night in his room and some things looked like other things. The diagnosis was simple. Terrance was a magic user.

As soon as his parents discovered this, they sent him to the school that would give him proper magic education.
There, Terrance learned that he had a special affinity for the Illusion Magic and he was terrible at the magic used for protection.
He got his diploma and magic license.

The life of an actor

For years his life was calm.
His parents passed away and as he knew he doesn't have even a small part of their talent, he sold their workshop.
Their will stated him as the only heir.
The wealth that they left him would last him even if he lived 2 more lives.
He bought a little countryside cottage for himself and became an actor and screenwriter.
His acting moved the hearts of the crowds and his screenplays were loved by the children and their parents.
Once in a while, his magic helped to scare away or defeat the monsters that were getting close to the city.
He was known as this lovely, caring, kind gentleman.

The flames

The years passed. His hair started turning grey pretty early in his life, but he didn't mind. It added him the charm of being perceived as an older gentleman.
One week he decided to travel for a while with one of his friends, who was a shepherd and who needed to move his flock to the mountainside pasture with his friends and their flocks.
Terrance wanted to use that time to find inspiration and deal with his writer block.
The journey was really peaceful and Terrance had a great time. He spent most of the year with the shepherds.

But on their way home, they noticed a wall of smoke coming from the direction of the city.
It was in flames.
While they were absent [Insert monsters or opposing nation here], attacked the city and destroyed most of it.
Terrance run towards the city to help extinguish the flames or help anyone he could.
But because almost everything was already burned down, and he was really bad at the protection magic he didn't manage to save anyone.
Even his house was destroyed.
Ever since he couldn't stay in one place, fearing that he could lose it like he lost everyone he knew. He became the adventurer.
At some point, he has met Brother Ezekiel.
Ever since, the two old men were travelling together.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Even in his age, he is still athletic and fit (but not overly muscular).

Facial Features

He has a diamond-shaped face, bushy brows and snubbed nose.
He has narrow red lips which make him look as if he is always smiling. He has well-kept Van Dyke style goatee with a handlebar mustache.

Special abilities

He can use most of the Schools of Magic.
He is talented at using the Illusions and really bad at using wards and other protection spells.

Apparel & Accessories

He wears quilted fencing doublet, pants, and high boots. He likes his clothes to be colorful but not flashy. He doesn't wear any jewelry.

Specialized Equipment

He has a rapier and 50cm long ebony scepter he uses for spells.

"And my next spell will be..." At this point he hits the enemy across the head with the scepter.
