The Wishgiver Centre

The Wishgiver Centre is a hospital and medical research facility established on the border of the Bazaar, Oldway and Plainwall in Hruunchash. It was established by a charitable group who learned the healing arts under the tutelage of the Bolgrim Wishgiver himself, when he was in the midst of one of his more benevolent centuries.
Its situation between the three districts was a subtle political statement, with its healthcare offered for free to all nearby citizens. Originally funded privately by followers of the Bolgrim, its success at staving off disease in the city's more crowded areas soon earned it several funding streams from academic institutions, the temples and Asharch's government, enabling it to offer free healthcare to all who can make it to its doors and open a significant research program specialising in virology and immunisation.
The Wishgiver Centre has made an enormous difference to the communities around it, providing jobs to those living in Plainwall, plentiful trade opportunities for approved medical suppliers based in the Bazaar and a dose of reality to break into the sheltered community of Oldway.
It is not without its controversy, of course. There are plenty of people in Hrashcahr who object to the presence of such a large institution created by followers of one of the Bolgrim, but most people can do no more than grumble now that the hospital enjoys the patronage of the Asharch himself.
There are also few, if any, who can find any real evidence of nefarious intent in the hospital's operation. Those Wishgiver - like all Bolgrim - is hardly a reliable ally, his followers' motives were pure and in the decades since its establishment, the centre has brought nothing but good to the city of Hruunchash.
As such, the Wishgiver Centre is still the number one destination for any aspiring doctors or other medics in the country, and an indispensable part of the city's infrastructure.
