Chaosverse

One of the many universes set in a multiverse reality of magic, Fae, and Divine Beings, Chaosverse is the latest in a long line of earths that have slowly but steadily gaining a brand new sort of magic. This magic is powered, like all magic, by The Source but has been filtered through the alterations that humans have/do/will make on their world. Be it roads, cities, objects, or even in some cases their mere existence, it causes untold chaos upon what was an otherwise delicate system of balance. As such it has been named Chaos Magic and its users named Chaos Magicians.   There are many, many similarities to the world from which this one is written, Universe Prime, but there are also drastic changes. Technology is more advanced in some ways, the same in others. Politics are not the same, the shape of the world in some ways even differs. Whole new cities and towns may exist, while others may not exist and their effect on history shifted to another. Alien and familiar, anyone for Universe Prime would feel very out of place even while feeling at home.   Unfortunately, this world is as of yet not in the know of magic in general. It is a secret that is kept by many organizations spanning the globe, keeping all manor of the supernatural, fantastical, and otherworldly from the public at large. The Librarians, Council of Pomegranate, Court of Seasons, and other small groups are all working in a somewhat allied sense to keep everything just so. Their control is weakening, though, as those of Chaos Magic are gaining both in power and numbers.   Chaos Magic is not governed by any one body, not being actively internally controlled by anyone. Even the divine entity that has grown into existence around it has little to no control over what users of this sometimes unpredictable but always intense branch of magic do. They are trying, however, gathering their emissaries and charges to try and turn the slowly rising tide of utter anarchy that is rising.   All that and more make this world a sea boiling just beneath the surface. However will heroes and villains, the cruel and not, fuck it all up?
