Samivor Nollicon

Samivor Nollicon is a clerk at the Grand Tower of the Merchant Mages in Naros working at the main counter on the ground floor. He has held this post for as long as any of the merchants or his colleagues can remember, though some recall stories of his grandfather of the same name. In fact the records of the Two Fish, the oldest trading house in the Merchant Venturers at Morton, indicate that for several centuries there has been a Samivor Nollicon in this role - the name and the job passing down the generations.

Samivor Nollicon - Under the Surface

Samivor Nolicon is an alias; he is the human form (or at least one of them) of Kamgrimmur; the drakkun who bulit up the Merchant Mages in the years following The Devastation of Naros. Kamgrimmur had become aware that their clerks often knew small but vital details on those who traded and in the early years of the Mages adopted the form of one of these clerks, to gather information from when the traders were being a bit less careful about their utterances. Some was specific to traders or vessels but mostly it was general to the trades and allowed Kamgrimmur to build their knowledge of human trade patterns as the world came to him.

As Kamgrimmur is now approaching their millenium, Samivor is how they keep current in the tempestuous and ever changing details of those short lived species with who the Mages deal, for there is only so much to be learnt from reports and the second hand utterances of those Kamgrimmur "officially" deals with.
