Noxian Calendar

Developed by Noxium the Chronoturgyst, a Great Power of Old. It is said that Noxium altered the movement of celestial bodies to have a perfect calendar. A cycle of the first moon of Cevasia lasts a tenday, which Noxium posed as the base for the measurement of days. Noxium divided the year in 14 months of 3 tendays each, for a total of 42 tendays in a year. Indifferent to naming conventions, Noxium did not name any month or weekday, preferring aseptyc numerals, besides the last month that he called Primultimate and furtherly dedicated to themself. He succesfully imposed their calendar on their subjects, and then on those people whose lands they conquered. The wealth and importance of their dominion was so vast, and the efficiency and truth of their calendar so evident, that the Noxian Calendar still remains the most used calendar on Cevasia, being the sole common calendar to more than four continents, and it is known and referenced to virtually anywhere in Cevasia.   What follows is the Estrian-Vesprian version of the Noxian Calendar. Asmoday is often called Iomeday instead, the cult of the Human Heroine being much more beloved than that of the Lord of Hell. Gruumday is becoming more common instead of Kordelia. In some regions, the day of Melora is dedicated instead to Abadar. From time to time religious and secular authorities have tried to substitute Lamia with a more acceptable name, but any of such attempts has failed until now, and any different naming convention remains situational at best.
