Tweety Pentil

The Tweety Pentil is a fun and unique writing tool. It is a more modern style tool but was made around fifty years ago. It is a combination of a pen and a pencil but with a fun child-like twist ;) Every time you put a dot on the page, like a period or the bottom of a question mark or exclamation point, it tweets. Hence the name: Tweety Pentil. It is clear so you can see the springs and many gears inside. You have to button to make the tip go open or closed, but instead of ink it's lead. And the best part, It's got little wings on the sides, and a little beak too! When you need to sharpen it you hold the button down for five seconds, and the lead pops out. You can bye a lead pack with it. If you want to refill it you hold the button down again and hold the lead in, when you let go your Tweety Pentil is back in shape!

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When you press the button once it pushes a spring down, grabbing the lead and pushing it out. When you click it again the spring grabs the lead and pulls it back in. When you hold the button down for longer it grabs the gear instead it it twists it and the last gear shoves the lead out. When you hold it down without the lead in it the gears are open so the new lead will latch back on.
When you do a dot the slight shock runs through the lead to a tiny box inside the Tweety Pentil. The box has a baby bird tweet recorded and the shock activates it and it makes a short sound.
