Cerinar is the southern continent in the world of Tahlir. The land teems with life in the many different biomes that make their mark on the continent. the human kingdoms, the enormous halls of the dwarf lords, and the The continent is also home to a wide variety of biomes, located on the northern hemisphere, it spans a large enough area to contain freezing tundra, majestic mountain ranges, dense forests, and vast deserts. The continent is separated in the middle by the Sea of Origins, connected only by a thin, mountainous sliver of land to the far east.   Through the centuries, many nations and powers have risen and fallen. To this day, most of the power on the continent is found on the southern half. Cerinar used to be plagued by horrible storms called Enderstorms that would carry such power as to hurl boulders across miles of land, crushing everything in their paths as well as granting creatures and monsters some kind of power. These days, after The EndStorm and subsequent Reclamation thousands of years ago, the only Enderstorms that make landfall are contained within the Stormlands, an area to the South-East surrounded by colossal mountains, blocking the storms and the monstrous inhabitants.   Technology is slowly advancing, but is still well within Medieval-era scopes. Except for magic. In most major cities there is at least one school or university dedicated to the study of magic whether it is in the Arcane, Primal, Psionic, or Divine. Most magic on the continent is divine, that is, granted by the gods, in this case The Sovereign Host which watches over civilization and is said to have helped the Cerinarians during the Reclamation.
