Scarlet Candle Inn

The Scarlet Candle in the Port district of Saarmen by the central docks. The street outside is crowded with drunken brawlers.
Innkeeper: The innkeeper is a stout female dwarf named Irlaugg.

The inn is next to a warehouse, meaning they always have good foot traffic from hard working laborers and people who have been at the docks all day. The side of the inn has an alleyway that has been used on occasion by male Dwarf and female Human couple that the inn speculates is a forbidden romance. A warehouse worker has told the tale how he helped the lovely couple, by stacking crates in order to allow the fair maiden to escape via the window so her parents would not see her leave. Others claim the worker is full of it and should drink less. The rest is up to the people's court of opinion.

Purpose / Function

This inn specialises in sailors and their needs. This mainly focuses on how frequently they leave the city or are back on their ships. 
Irlaugg has a good relationship with the ladies at the night to make sure they look after her customers, and her customers look after the ladies.
Due to her cliental she is tolerant of roughhousing as long as it's a fair fight. She makes sure all her employees are able to make it a fair fight.

Architecture

The inn is a two-storey building of half-timbered walls, with a small fenced yard and a large cellar. Accommodations consist of several large rooms with beds and straw mattresses.
