Council of Giants

The council resides in the Mountains of Silverheart. They are not a secret council, however the areas nearby are very sparse. The closest village is actually down the mountain and over the boarder from Giantdown and into Dhoesone. Unlike much of their kind, they don't see the need to step on the little guy to thrive. They often will take on smaller humanoid apprentices in various crafts, fighting and adventuring. 
Birmalog, a fog giant, is the head of the council. However, the council is comprised of each type of giant. Their goal is to ensure their history and arts never be forgotten which is why they don't mind teaching it to other races.

Territories

The council does not own the Silverheart mountain range, but many consider it their territory.

Military

Each member is a trained warrior. As a result their apprentices are also well trained and will act as a fighting force if the council or nearby villages are attacked.

Religion

Most of the giants don't really have a faith. Except for the Ice Giant's. They follow Kostchtchie.

Foreign Relations

Relations with nearby villages are friendly as the council will often come to their aid if there is trouble. However, settlements further away are often sceptical and suspicious of the giants since many from Giantdown would much rather pillage and stomp through the settlements. This can make things tense when nobles try to impose themselves on the council or accuse them of things they have not done. As a result the council will keep to themselves.

Agriculture & Industry

They have farms, forges and refineries. There is a door that leads into the mountains where some apprentices will bring up metal to be worked.

Education

The giants offer a range of training. They will take anyone after an interview unless they feel that the individual doesn't have good intensions. The giants also like to learn themselves and will regularly try to learn something new off of their apprentices. They do not believe that a teacher should look down on their students but walk hand in hand towards learning despite the hieght difference.

They import timber. Apprentices will make the journey North for them.

Legislative Body

The council works together and votes on laws, rules and issues. The head of the council's vote is not worth more then the others. They merely run the meetings and ensure things run smoothly.
