Chime City

The cyberlized crystal of Cereta

Chime city, a glamorous Koigan authorized city known for her futuristic cyber technology that question even the most radiant technician. Chime city was once a part of the Haradoc region. However, it was conquered by the henjuanese kingdom in 1253 ME. Despite their advanced weapons, the Haradic were weakened during their construction of their floating city. Resulting with them unable to hold their stance in the region that is now Chime city. However, as recorded in history, the conflict between the Henjuanese dominion and the Haradic kingdom does not conclude its ending here, as in the early summer of 1268 ME, when the tides of the Anairus ocean are at its utmost strength. As if water were men and men were water, the Haradic army aggressively penetrated into the Henjuanese territory, cutting down anything that dare stood on their path. Luckily for Honju, within the chaotic midst of imminent defeat, rises a small political party proudly named the Koiga Sovereignty, which asks the royal house of Honju for their political power to make an alliance with the raging Haradic Kingdom. With the borrowed mandate of Mikalis, an alliance was made with the Haradoc Kingdom, with an exchange of Chime City being the neutral ground between Haradoc and Honju. serving as the trading center between the two.

Constructed on the coast of the Koiga region, Chime city is the gate that connects the Koiga sovereignty directly to the Hunter Organization whenever they need to invade — making a large portion of the Koiga's taxes invested directly into chime city, giving it a boost in technology and populations.

Aside from its impressive cyber technology, Chime city is also known as the city of glamour, the capital of night, and surprisingly, the city of death. The rate of death in Chime city is estimated twelve percent higher than its neighboring cities, putting it in the list of one of the most dangerous cities in the Koiga authorized region. Solely due to chime city's unfortunate location, standing between the Koiga Sovereignty's territory and the hunter organization's territory, making Chime city a shield that is likely to be invaded. Chime city was once held captured by the Hunter Organization. Still, the Koiga sovereignty soon recaptured it. Chime city now serves as the soil for conflict to grow between the two opposing factions. To ignite the already burning flame, This city was once belonged to the Hunter Organization also resulted in numerous of the Hunter Organization's contract hunters, secretly rooted deep inside Chime City and weaving webs of black market underneath the never resting city. Where Hunter sneakily sells forbidden weapons and goods to other contractors that were assigned tasks in the city. Most of these Hunters have been in Chime city since when the Hunter still holds authorization. Entrusted with the task of stealing information about technology, protecting The Hunter Blackmarket chain, and causing the death of notable figures, the list of these contract hunters includes Klaw Evador and Luckas Arison.

Chime city carry lots of similarity to helbertz in cuisine and culture, mainly because chime city has endured lots of influence from the Helbarnese, after being authorized for over six years by the Hunter Organization. Lots of good were transported directly from Helbertz to sustain the hunters that are securing the city, while the authority still belongs to their hand. A plan to build an underwater bridge to connect the Hunter authorize region and Chime city were launched, however, the project was halted halfway after Chime city was taken over by the Koiga Sovereignty.

Chimeran are known for their superior eyesight. Thanks to the Koiga's investment in preserving the vision of their citizens, knowing that Chimeran has to work with technology on an hourly basis. After the sun begins to dissolve into the sunset, the light from every electrical billboard in the city will start to emit a ray of warm orange. These rays are aimed to reduce the eye strain of people who are covered in it. During midnight, the color of these lights will then shift to the shades of dark fandango purple and electric blue. Drifting chime city into a more charming vibe, thanks to the astonishing effect that these lights create, and due to the fact that this scenery can only be found in Chime City, not only that it helped Chimeran to be more efficient, the romantic light also drawn in visitors from neighboring regions. The color purple was chosen because they believe that it provokes people to be more awake and productive. Chimeran are typically hard-working, thanks to the Helbarnese influence while the Hunter Organization authorized chime city, their work ethic can even be comparable to the citizen in Helbertz.

Government

Although the glamor of the purple city might easily deceive you. With the towering height of her construction competing against which of the cloud's, intersecting highway leading straight to her mother region, Honju, and on top of all a whole underwater water farming system created by a marriage of Haradic aquatic technology and Henjuanese farming knowledge. You are not at fault for thinking this continually improving metropolis is the soil blessed by ___ the goddess of improvement. However, you might not know how many corrupted owner blinding the government with money so they can freely thrive, how many drugs have been transported to Chime City from the very highway that supplies the city with foods, and how many decapitated bodies that were too horribly disfigured to regconize, hiding inside those floating farms.   Although those were just rare events that are painfully exaggerated by media, with the the drug trades being an exception.

Defences

╭─━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
With significant technological advancement, born a new kind of rogue that has only become a small thread to other regions. A rogue type that kills without having to touch a weapon, and can cripple the infrastructure of Chime City if they have the required ability. They are known as hackers, some of them came from the Hunter Organization, and lots of them being chimeran themself, chimeran who are unemployed and found themself corrupted into rogues. However, instead of working together to infiltrate the firewall of Chime City center. These hackers usually compete against each other, causing ruckuses on the low street where most of them are located, which benefits the Hunter Organization's hackers, giving them time to hack into Chime City.

This does not spare the center of Chime City unharmed from attacks, though. Thousands of traps and malware were sent onto devices of people in this area, the vast majority of those people being newcomers or visitors in the city. To combat the issues, the Koiga Sovereignty sent messages to the low street offering jobs to hackers, promising a sustainable life in the area, hitting most of the hacker's soft spot, a need for a safe place to stay. Like a stream of data, hackers race to become part of the Koiga Sovereignty, reducing the number of cyberattacks, and improve Chime City's firewall.

For the life of his hunters, now that they have nothing to distract the Koiga enforcer unit from raiding them. In Genko's order, the Hunter Organization's hacker begins to send out fake news about how the Koiga is luring hackers to turn themself in. The new persuade tons of outrage against the Koiga Sovereignty even from the people who joined their program. As a result, the flows of new hackers came to a halt, and the firewall of Chime city began to receive unrelenting attacks.

Industry & Trade

Due to the sudden spikes in their community, and most of their farm taken over by large buildings, Chime city began to rely more and more heavily on trading to satisfy its citizens. Having an unpredictable food surplus, prices of items in Chime city are significantly higher comparing to other metropolis thanks to transportation fees, pushing Chime citizens to work more relentlessly and efficiently, which increases the advancement of their technology in the process.   Safe from the knife of criminal families of the low street. Some of the occupations desired by most modern Chimeran are an employee for business or a scientist for the Koiga.   Unlike the center of Chime city, the low street of Chime City is infested by "Mantis Hackers" or assassins and spies from the Hunter Organization, which require hourly interference from the advanced N.E.O unit of Koiga to keep the area from blowing itself up. Despite most Chimeran prefer peace rather than combat, and their physique being unfit for combat position. The N.E.O force always has enough units to protect Chime City. It isn't only meats and spices that the Koiga Sovereignty imported from its neighboring regions. Some of it is also employed human resources for its military, with the vast majority of them coming from Haradoc.

Assets

Deep in the low street of chime city, among some of the abandoned underground data vault. The Hunter Organization has set up chains of mobile black markets. The Koiga Sovereignty do notice the existence of these rogue market and are doing their best to eradicate all of them. Pushing these markets to be always on the move to avoid The Koiga Sovereignty. Despite how much malicious merchant the Koiga executed in the name of truth and justice, there will always be black market dealers in the city, and some are even lurking in the Koiga Sovereignty.
