Nucrana national library building

In the city of Ellhil, which is 50 miles north of the famous Notnola Glen. The city houses The Nucrana national library, is housed in an old government building.
This building was built about 400 years before the split of the governments on Nucrana. It was build for the use of the Uska government when they were in power. The building was built out of stone with very little wood used in the construction. The stone and rock used to build it came from a place not far from the Ellhil city.
The facade of the building was build to resemble the cliffs and waterfall of the Notnola Glen. The entrance is as if you are walking through a waterfall. On each side of the waterfall entrance there are symbols painted and carved along either side. Once through the doors there is a huge hall with several hallways splintering off of it. These use to lead to different office of the officers, dignitaries and other workers of the government. A few of the halls are more causeways that lead to a few of the other buildings that did more of the administrative parts of the government. There is one hall directly across from the entrance, larger and grander than the rest that leads further into the building. This was the main hall that lead to a council room and high leader rooms.
When the Nucrana republic split from the Uska government. The people of the city of Ellhil were determined to remove the previous Uska government’s presence form the city. They however were reluctant to destroy the building because of its reminder of the Notnola Glen. A few of the older generation suggested that they turn the building into a library to gather books and their history together.
So one of the first things the Nucrana republic did was allocate funds to change the old Uska government building into a library. The people of Ellhil did their best to keep the original architecture. They kept the little wood theme and decided to bring in more stone from near by. They used the stone to change the rooms and other connected buildings into rooms for books, artifacts and included a few research areas. The wood that is mostly found in the library is for shelves for the books. The doors were made of metal. Many of the symbols on the outside walls were changed from the Uska government propaganda to more of just the history of the Ellhil city.
