Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Generally he is in good physical condition. Having spent his life as a smuggler he has a network of scars. He has severe burns on his hands and feet. He is also a victim of prolonged certification that has claimed the lower half of his arms and legs.

Personal history

Born and raised among the Untethered he spent his adolescence in the Leaking Caverns surrounded by monsters and those of his own culture. After his Reattachment he ventured out of the Caves and onto the mortal plane. He spent most of his life after the fact traveling, discoing the Old and New world and secret passage ways all throughout the two. As he reached middle aged he began smuggling goods for pay and soon became a refutable smuggler among criminal circles. He has never been caught with good and continues to go on throughout his life.

Employment

He is a refutable smuggler for hire. He will take special requests to smuggle desired items but most of his time is spent smuggling people and goods across the boarder between the new and old world.

Mental Trauma

During his Reattachment ceremony he became lost in the tunnels on his way to the portal to the Underdark. Offered no assistance by those overseeing the coming of age ceremony he stumbled through the caves blindfolded. Eventually he was attacked by a roaming beast through the caves, trying to escape he made it to the surface of the mortal plane. The chains around his wrist and ankles immediately burned away causing immense pain and his blindfold came off one eye exposing it to the sunlight. Trying to return to the cave to resume his search for the Underdark he was attacked by his people and only narrowly escaped death by escaping to the mortal plane. Lost and abandoned he searched the mortal plane for a safe place to hide.

Circumstances of Birth

Slyd was a member of the Untethered population but unlike most which were born in the Underdark and then brought into the Leaking Caverns Slyd was born in the Leaking Caverns themselves. His mother did not survive the birth and no father came forward.
