The Nether Planes are in turbulence once more. The Mephits I have summoned tell me great disturbances shake the lower levels; the Demon lords might be fighting once more. I've had to rescribe the outer glyphs twice this week. We must reduce our rate of summoning, otherwise the pattern will be weakened and things will really start going wrong. I must tell Norcana about the disturbances

The Umbral Forest quietens again. This should be a good sign, but I feel uneasy; Kallmorak hasn't answered my summons. Either another has found his name, or his essence has been consumed. Either way it bodes ill for me. I need to re-inscribe the Rhunes of the Ahriman in my chamber once more. Bugger it's inconvenient
