Druthyr
Basic Information
Anatomy

Genetics and Reproduction
Druthyr reproduce similarly to other elves, albeit with some distinct differences. When a Druthyr couple wish to produce a child, they do so, over a gestation period of 2 years. However, once the child is born, the Druthyr parents give the child its first drink from blood pooled from their veins.
Growth Rate & Stages
Druthyr grow at a similar rate to other elves, slowly growing to a teenager at around 50 years, only being considered an adult around 100, and living to around 600-700 years, slightly older than other elves.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Druthyr do not require blood unlike true blooded vampires. However, they avoid the mostly herbivore diet of the other elven subspecies, instead preferring a far more carnivorous diet
