Anados is the God of Foresight, Guardian of the Divine Veil and the source of all divinations. Anados is intrinsically linked with the skies above, for it is he that guides the path of the world so that the Divine Veil is kept unbroken, and as a result of this, all divination is linked with the sky above. Indeed, amongst scholarly circles, it is widely accepted that divinations are more intense in the dead of night, under an open sky. Almost every prophet's birth has been heralded by a star in the sky erupting in a shower of light.
Priests of Anados are often unpopular due to their tendancy of speaking in riddles, as they are unwilling to accidentally lead a person to act. Lesser educated people hear of the prophetic talents of Anadosian Priests, and are frustrated when the priest merely speaks in riddles or flat out refuses to answer. Luckily for the priests, they can foretell if an encounter would prove dangerous for them, so they are rarely in true danger.
Anados is normally depicted as a dark figure, race or gender impossible to determine. Their body is dark like the night sky, but speckled in tiny pricks of light, giving just enough of an outline to notice the image. Unknown to most, it has actually become an informal tradition amongst priests of Anados to try and include depictions of him that are as hard to notice as possible.
