Cauldron
Long long ago the world was a roiling ocean of magic. Behemoths ran rampant. Fey lords plucked stars from the sky to forge bones into castles. Forests grew as tall as the sea is deep. There was no end to the horizon and no end to the terror of humans.
Then humans said "no." And they said it so hard the world broke. Ever since, they have kept saying no.
Now that world is our world. But it isn't just ours. When we said "no," a smaller voice said "yes."
This story is about them. About their side of the conversation with the world. About them finding their voices. And about how they're not always them. They're us.
