Greetings to you, the dauntless adventures and explores of the plots and anomalies of Catena!   It is a time of great innovation yet suffrage. In 100 years, man went from tilling the land to working factory jobs. There was great upheaval, great profit, and great opportunities. The last century set the world class leader countries of the Azurian Empire, Lévee Republic, Heinrich Empire, Rosho, and the U S S.   In one lifetime: Empires arose from near oblivion, Age old empires fell with tradition, the streets lit up a golden hue, production is soaring at a rate never seen, goods available to the rich became easily accessible to the poor, the middle class spawned from the either, and so much more.   Despite innovation and exploitation. Tradition seems to be on the rise yet again. In west and east, north and south. The warrior yet peaceful monks of Shia and Rosho may be repressed, but they are finding new work as athletes and healers. Yet progress seems slow, and unorganized. The Kindled Inquisitors of Radiant are being challenged by the empires that they matured and thought their own values to. The newer inquisitors are finding missionary work abroad, protecting villages and converting many to their faith. Yet the world sees this as gaining allies to challenge them. Even the age old menace of Reverium seem to be one the verge of losing their home to an authoritative despot. Many migrated, many died during this.   Now meta. I am not going to sugar coat this, this world is basically 1900s earth with elements of sci-fi and fiction thrown in along with a new map and somewhat different empires. Azure is basically Great Britain, Lévee is france, Rosho is Japan, etc. Even a lot of world events are in order, such as Opium Wars, Japanese modernization, church reformation, dark ages, bronze age collapse, etc. Merely taking our world and throwing a spin in it, having religious magic exist and some other types of mystical stuffs.   My inspirations are: Fallout, Dishonored, Nonfiction, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Avatar TLAB, and other minor sources
