Prophesy of Fire and Wind

The Prophesy of Fire and Wind is a document that has long thought to be lost to time, written by one of the first mages of Casimira. It features heavily in the Myth of Dragon Mountain and historians are still uncertain whether it has been fulfilled by the Great Calamity or whether there is another day of fire coming.

The document speaks of a world sparkling with light that hides at its core deep darkness that could consume it. While the two elements are balanced, a peace can be maintained, but tip the scales and a terrible fate will befall the world. What that fate entails is uncertain, but is speculated to be the end of all races in the world.

It goes on to state that the world has been made anew before and can be again, but that the age of fire and wind must be the last.

Like the myth it comes from, this prophesy has been debated a great deal since the calamity and historians seem no closer to an answer. The original document has disappeared and what parts are remembered don't appear to fit into the existence of the world as they know it, espcially in regard to the world being made anew. There is no evidence of prior life or civilizations beyond their own.

As a result of these debates, most people and dragons believe this is nothing more than a myth and of no use to anyone. They also believe that if it is real, there is nothing to be done with parts and pieces of a prophesy. Time will tell if this is the correct approach or not, but for now it is of little consequence to anyone.
