Mickey Aralar

Mickey Aralar was a famous exploerer that helped map the northern portion of Niclari. He was well known for being generous with an explorers heart. He didn't back down from danger and when others cowered in fear, he would dive head deep into the fray. This caused him people close to him to either leave or adopt the traits that made him so fearless. Mickey's legacy ended when he visited an island and never returned. The island was named after him for all his achievements.

Personal history

Mickey grew up near the docks of Rowsite. Being fascinated by the ships coming and going and the open sea that he would look often spend his days staring at. He was always curious and had a fearless heart even at a young age. HIs parents being former sailors, they told him stories of their adventures. Fantistical stories of fighting sea monsters and facing pirates. These stories roominated in his mind until he grew older. He signed up as a sailor for Rowsite's military and was quickly disappointed to find that most of the time sailing was mundane.
A few years being in sea, Mickey's ship was attacked by pirates. Fighting and trying to survive sparked a sensation that Mickey had been searching for. However, the brutality of what he saw during the attack also sparked a new senation of death. He knew that no matter how he lived his life he would end up dying. This would cause most to hide in fear but for Mickey, it was a sense of freedom.
After the attack on the ship, he left Rowsie's military and swindled his way into getting a boat. He landed a small group of people who were enticed by Mickey's personality. The way he talked about the world inspired them to join him. They made their way north of Rowsite and started finding new places.
