Shorewall Spire
A massive, ancient tower which sits atop a steep hill in northern Shorewall.
The tower has no discernible entrance, although the exterior is dotted with barred windows.
Purpose / Function
Nobody living knows what purpose the tower originally had, but for centuries it has been a landmark for travellers and merchants, both on land and sea.
Architecture
The architecture of the Spire is not unique in Carminia, but it is extremely rare. As far as scholars can tell, the entire tower was crafted (or, perhaps, forged) from a single piece of magisteel, a feat altogether inconceivable using the methods and technologies of the Current Era.
The tower predates Carminian history, having been built by a race older than dragons. Next to nothing is known about the inside, as no way has been found to enter the structure.
