Pfellvaa

Pfellvaa is the most recent member of the Luminaran Federation, joining in 968 AnCog. Previously it had been a part of the Kingdom of Luminara.

Public Agenda

Pfellvaa promises its people that it will defend them from the Kingdom of Luminara and Kelandrellian rule, and help them to rise out of the extreme poverty they were put in by the aforementioned countries.

History

Before the Luminaran Civil war, Pfellvaa was part of Eastern Luminara, now the Luminaran Federation, and enjoyed the privileges that were granted to that region by the Kelandrellian government. After the war, the nation was taken by the King Hanniel and the Kelandrellian Empire as part of the Treaty of Drida. During the 207 years, Pfellvaa was part of the Kingdom of Luminara, which is a misnomer, the Luminarans living there suffered greatly. Because of the centuries of Kelandrellian occupation, the Kingdom of Luminara is mainly made up of Kelandrellians making Luminarans a minority and are treated as lesser people by Kelandrellians. Many of them were killed or forced to work for almost no wages. The regions with the largest Luminaran populations, like Pfellvaa, were not developed by at all and were governed by very corrupt Kellandrellians, who were explicitly told to steal from and mistreat the Luminarans. 
Finally, in 968 the Luminarans of Pfellvaa had had enough, they banished all of the Kellandrellian officials and declared independence from the kingdom. Pfellvaa was welcomed into the Luminaran Federation with open arms and help was sent to the struggling nation immediately. Although Pfellvaa still struggles almost fifty years later, most Pfellvaan Lumianrans are no longer struggling and the nation is beginning to see development.
