Licorice Lagoon

Geography

Resting north of the Gumdrop Hills, south of the Lollypop Woods, and east of the Licorice Forest, the large bay known as Licorice Lagoon sits as a primary trading hub between most of the major mainland factions of Candy Land. With ease of access and a defensible position thanks to the Jolly Gate, Licorice Lagoon has flourished into the largest city in the land.

Fauna & Flora

Beneath the waters of Licorice Lagoon reside the gummy people, a dangerous sub-human folk that often raid the shores of the bay. Often found alongside various carnivorous fish and sharks, these fish folk are a constant thorn in the side of Lord Liqourice and he hopes to one day rid the bay of their menace.
The deeper parts of the bay are home to various octopus and other monstrous sea creatures.

Natural Resources

Both gummy and a more natural verity of aquatic life is found in abundance in the lagoon, with large fleets of fishing ships found through out the large bay.
In more recent years, pioneers have begun dredging the shallow areas of the bay to try and reclaim old relics dating back to before the great war.
