Caledera

1. The Kaos Trails (early title) takes everything that is wrong with the world, Nuclear Warfare. Poverty, Corruption, Tyranny, Disease etc. and places them into a fantastical setting that causes destruction throughout the land of Caledera.   2. Every being, from trees, to humans, to gods, are made up of Essence. The essence came before everything, before the gods of Creation and Destruction. The gods are manifestations of essence condensed into all powerful beings (with limits). Paro, the god of creation, and Kaos the god of destruction. Kaos is not wholly evil and Paro is not wholly good but being the gods of their respected powers, some cliches may be present, still working this out.   3. There are the classics such as Dragons, Elves, Orcs, etc. Initially I tried to not use these races but I'm going to write when I'm going to think of. And I wanted my own fantasy world and these are what make me who I am so instead of making up a race that has all the features of a Dwarf, I decided to just add Dwarves. If it acts, looks, and sounds like a Dwarf... it must be a Dwarf.   4. There wont be a true happy ending, main characters will die, and hopefully... between the time of writing this and the day I die, I complete the world I have envisioned.   5. Trying to not add any Deus Ex Machina, cause that stuff sucks, and no time travel, ruins literally every great series continuity.
