Relics of Titanfall

Created during the Age of the Titans by deities and other extremely powerful beings, by weaving a piece of their own essence into them.   They were created, and usually found in a dormant state, where much of their power is hidden. Through constant use, a bond with a champion, and personal growth, they can be awakened. Eventually, through extreme personal challenge, evolution, and achievement, the Relic can reach its full potential in its exalted state, its true form, the state when it was originally used during the Age of the Titans, to lead the mortal armies against the Titans.

Divine Relics

Created by the prime deities of the Pantheon, these relics are ancient. Some have been passed down through generations, and remain in the possession of the direct descendants of the champions who fought agains the Titans. Others have been lost in time, remaining hidden or locked away, dormant, sometimes in the possession of those who do not understand their power's full extent.

Research

Certain people have devoted a serious amount of time in recent years to research and attempt to locate the missing relics. Their research, as compiled by a group of adventurers, details the following possible locations:
  • Entombed with the long perished champion of the Raven Queen, in a graveyard temple east of Craigavon (later found out to be the Deathwalker's Ward)
  • Deep in the elven woodlands, in the ruined house of a once great family of assassins, a blade forged of an alien metal still lies in the hand of she who once wielded it (recovered by Nera Galanodel)
  • A pair of gauntlets embedded with the power of thunder itself, in the hands of the tyrannical leader of an orc warband, deep in the northern wilderness of the Great Expanse
  • A warhammer made by the god of crafting himself, sits unused in the walls of a collector in the City of Brass.
  • A set of mirrors enchanted by the fey god adorn the house of a noble of the Unseelie Court, deep in the Feywild.
  • A drinking horn blessed by the Dawnfather, lays wasted and unused in the vaults of a dwarven king.
  • The bracelets enchanted with eternal light were stolen from the tomb of her long dead champion, and taken beneath a devastated mountain city (recovered by Drumin Bronzebeard)
  • Where the sea meets the eastern shores of this continent, an eladrin who can trace her lineage back millenia, still hangs on to the veil passed down by her ancestors.

Relics of the New Gods

In more recent times, the New Gods, with their now matured and growing power, started to toy around with the idea of mortal champions. From those experiments, artefacts similar in design and power to the original relics came into existence. Although not as powerful as their older counterparts, they are evolving faster, along with their creators' power.
