Order of the Aberrant Flame

This Order was a sect of arcane practitioners that were personally recuited by Xendal Vedakrhi as adjutants and initiates through which he directed and controlled a vast percentage of known practitioners within the human Empire and even many of those elsewhere. It is said the order held dark rites to unspeakable entities that existed far beyond the known outer realms and dimensions, and it was through the efforts of this order that, not only was Xendal Vedakrhi able to cheat death and assume mantle of Lich , but also the means by which a bargain was struck with one of the celestial dragons of darkness and shadow, granting the Order an ally that could potentially stand up to nearly any foe.
