Death in the Draig Cordillera
Life, DeathEarlier in the year, Cian and Gideon captured and tortured Mabel, in this swarm of flies. Later, in unprecious cargo the pair load Mabel's body into a crate, along with a number of other ascended (and Lily, as it turns out), onto a skyboat headed for The Draig Cordillera. Unbeknownst to them, Wessex was able to stow away onboard and makes the journey as well. Upon arrival in abandon hope, Cian opens one of the crates (this one with Lily inside), telling Gideon that she'll work as a distraction for the dragons. Lily is burned alive and eaten. As Mabel is released to presumably meet the same fate, the young ascended is taken over by The Voice, (confirming Safrin's many rumours that she could in fact do this), and kills Cian. More dragon attacks follow resulting in Mabel's death and allowing Gideon to escape. Wessex is also attacked by a dragon causing her to lose all of her items, though she is able to flee with Cian's body, thus attaining his very valuable 'knowtbook'.

An attack on Stormbreak; The Tower Falls
Disaster / DestructionIt is unknown how Gideon and Samuel ended up killing each other, but their deaths would spark quite the fire indeed. Found by Amun, Edrei, Wessex, and Cameron, in lying in wait, immediately Edrei set out on a path to take revenge on Stormbreak. With a dragon shift compliments of Sunjata (always searching for deliverance), Edrei, Amun, Wessex, and Nate set off to Stormbreak (airlifted by Sunjata). Arriving in Ligma, Edy immediately began to attack The Tower while Wessex used her illusion magic to try and corral the Stormbreak citizens to safety. Quickly, Edy was killed by Ronin, leading to Amun fleeing as Wessex kills Abraham. A deadly game of cat and mouse followed, with Ronin using the first instance of the Be the Hero prize to call down Safrin. After much back and forth with many chances for both sides to concede, Ronin kills Nate before Wessex flees back to the Hollowed Ground. When The Tower collapses, Seraphina and Luciana, as well as a number of others, die.
Nate's body is relocated into the Trinity Temple until terms of an exchange are agreed upon by Isla and Ronin. In exchange for Wessex's splashback upgrade, Stormbreak will hand over Nate, in The Great Nate Exchange. Not only do Wessex and Isla clelverly deceive Ronin as to which upgrade they are actually handing over, but the combined presence of Remi and Isla has The Voice taking over Isla's body with the offer of permanently killing Remi on the spot. Declining, Wessex, Isla, and Sunjata leave with Nate's body and a "You don't come here, we won't come there" truce is agreed upon between the Hollowed Grounds and Stormbreak.Location

Ronin becomes Commander of the Storm
Political eventWith Cian dead and the majority of the Order gone, Ronin holds a meeting for those remaining in The Sun is a Star. With no one else willing to step up, Ronin declares himself Commander of Stormbreak.

The Voice's Relic is Found
Discovery, ExplorationAwoke by Darkeye and Sunjata in double the whiskey and shake, a giant rock monster came to life off of the cliffs of Stormbreak. Though Sunjata and Darkeye tried to lure it out of Stormbreak's boundary (so that they could have reinforcements), Remi, Roninand Melita were able to kill the creature first. After much name calling and strangeling, Sunjata passed out and was taken to SB jail and Darkeye was left to swim in the icy SB waters.
The following relic was recovered: Bright's Banner | A tattered, obsidian banner. When flown in battle, all Ascended within a 30ft radius gain +10 to STR and DEX. Read more about it in Between a rock and a giant place/
