Mertes: The Warrior

God of Anger, Rage, and Hatred

Mertes (a.k.a. The Warrior)

Sometimes known as 'The Warrior,' Mertes is the God of Anger, Rage, and Hatred, and is one of the few gods considered truly evil. According to legend, the power of his rage could level cities with a single glance, and the swing of his mighty labrys axe is feared by [Obril himself. It is widely known that Mertes is a solid member of the Black Divinity, and believes that most mortals are weak, deserving only to be led by the strong.   Mertes is most often depicted as a terrifying black minotaur covered with glowing, magma like veins, and an almost skeletal face.
