The Witch’s Coast

The Witch’s coast is made up of the northwest coast of Caerul and it houses the despised, misunderstood, and dangerous magicians. The coast was originally a place of exile for these mages but now many take solace in it’s blasted landscapes. Within the coast are 9 towers used to house and train the spellcasters brought there as well as several academic buildings inhabited by scholars and wardens. Their coast has a functioning council made up of the 9 archmages, each a master of a certain school of magic, as well as the High-priest, High-Inquisitor, and Arch-Paladin of fyossi. There are distinctions made between witches, sorcerers, wizards, etc. and are usually trained and housed with others of their ilk. The archmages need not be wizards, but they must show themselves to be a master of their belonging school for one reason or the other. There are also a number of “Enclaves” or political factions amongst the coast and occasionally these become powerful entities capable of ushering in change or even rebellion.

Structure

The Coast is overseen by the High Cleric of Fyosi and is enforced by the Paladins and Inquisitors of Fyosi. The Magic towers are lead by an Archmage who have nearly as much power in The Coast as The High Cleric.

Public Agenda

To take in all those born with a spark of magic or wish to preform arcane magic. Taking these individuals into The Coast allows them to protect them from the world and the world from them.
