Sindoryn
The area known as Sindoryn, commonly called the capital of Freylia, is much more than a city or a seat of government. In fact, it has a highly cultural value to it's elven inhabitants. Sindoyrn is said to be the place that the first elves of Seldar settled, and remains one of the few non-nomadic settlements in the Great Forest.
The city itself is built into the trunks and branches of massive and ancient trees. These trees, still alive, have been warped and tended by druids for countless centuries, so that the wood elves can live inside the trees without killing them as many lesser races would have done. The homes located at the forest floor belong mainly to the common clans such as those that farm and hunt according to ancient tradition and the further up one goes, the more prestigious the denizens. The highest of the branches are reserved for drudic circles and powerful tribal warriors and leaders.
Demographics
Sindoryn is completely homogeneous with only elves as its inhabitants. The bulk of the population is made of farmers and hunters, with a decent upper class of artisans and specialists.

Guilds and Factions
There are several factions within Sindoryn , many being powerful enough to effect the whole of Freylia. The Sind, the representative body is a collection of the elven clans, where alliances are made and broken continuously.
History
Before the fall of the old gods, the elven people had struck out on their own. It is said they entered Caerul's ancient forest and wandered for weeks until they came to a forest of massive trees that enchanted the elves and their view of nature. They slept beneath the trees , which seemed to protect them from the dangers of the forest. It was decided then that this was the land of the elves. Over the centuries , the elves would develop the land further and further, making a living city of bark and Vine.
