As the old man breathes his last breath he sees Loftis from outside his window leading an army to save the city. " Thank the gods we are saved" as his quill falls from his hand and his soul leaves this world his last thoughts were that of joy and thankfulness.

History
In the beginning, Loftis and Kar-Vask wared against each other for 100 years on the continent of Shinragroth making it baren of nearly all life. Kar-Vask and his army of dragons won the war forcing Loftis to retreat into his realm to heal after suffering from a nasty wound.
