"Deep in the Underdark in the drow city of Lmgroth, the slaves of the drow have had their bodies beaten and had their spirits broken to the point that they were unrecognizable even to themselves. Goth the Black, the Tyrannical ruler of Lmgroth had ruled with an iron fist and had quelled any uprising that had even attempted to occur. Breaking the spirits of the slaves even more. That is until one day when Lilena answered the slave's prayers. Dressed in long colorful flowing fabrics Lilena appeared in the slums of Lmgroth and renewed the spirits of all those enslaved by Goth the Black. Lilena armed them and gave them protection allowing them to rise up against their tyrannical leaders. Goth the Black was tossed out of the city and ran off. Lmgroth was free at last."

Personal history

Lilena was created to take the place of Jikara. Jikara being the previous God of freedom had started to become paranoid of the other Gods turning against him. In his paranoia, however, he fulfilled his own prophecy. Once Lilena arrived Jikara locked himself way deep in the lower planes behind traps and chains. In the mind of Jikara he was keeping himself safe and free but in reality, he made himself a prisoner. Lilena views this as her greatest failer. Jikara, her brother made himself a prisoner because of her.  Lilena spent years attempting to free him but he kept placing more and more chains and traps. Driving Lilena almost to madness but as to not make the same mistakes that Jikara did, she left him alone. This still haunts her and she vowed to never let any of her siblings be chained again. No matter the cost.

Lilena above anything else is a Goddess of freedom. She believes that no one deserves to be imprisoned and everyone should be Free. Slavery is the greatest transgression in the eyes of Lilena.
