Black Earth Recruitment Camp

before the temple is a sprawling city of tents, between 1,000-1,500, surface dwellers are here. They are all waiting for the ceremony to take place. There is no combat training taking place but there are priests holding services. The people here are totally brainwashed and excited to finally take down the empire. Most of them are from around Lexonia (halflings, humans, and firbolgs) but there are a few people from farther away here too.
The day after the party arrives all these people will be brought into the temple for the ceremony.
There are alternative ways into the temple.

After boss fight

If the heros defeat the Lady Kissed by Stone and make it out of the temple the will see the result of interrupting the ceremony. A few dozen of the recruits were turned into earth elementals and are reeking havoc on the camp. BE cultists are trying to command them but to no avail. a mob of surface dwellers are trying to get out, Rin among them. 6 BE priests are rushing towards to side entrance to the temple (where the players are). They will hear someone behind them offer a way to escape. This is Marcus, a Vercengex soldier. He will show them a rope leading into the pit and he will say it is the only way out, then he will lead the way. This rope will lead into a magical darkness. as they climb further down the sounds of the priests above them and the earth elementals chaos will fade away. After 10, 15 minutes of climbing in the dark it will become earily quiet. Marcus will chastise anyone for making light, this darkness is the only thing keeping them alive. Make everyone roll a con saving throw, if they fail they get a point of exhaustion after climbing for 20 minutes. At the bottom they will still be in dakrness and Marcus will ask is everyone made it as he lights a blue flame magical lantern. He says that this area isnt safe and they need to keep moving.
