Rimhaven/The Great Lake

Rimhaven, a porttown that at some point in Caecias history marked the edge of the city, has now become one of the few locations that is still save to inhabit. The lake, named the great lake for convenience, which the town borders on, has long since become an easy way for the dominant local mafia to dispose of anyone who might be an... inconvenience. The lake itself is far deeper than anyone without cement shoes has ever bothered to try and find out, though whatever dangers may lurk down in the depths seem to prefer staying down there, as traversing the lake is a relatively save task, affording the town a great deal of riches, and with those, a large population, even by Caecias standards. As with a lot of Caecias more populated areas, almost every inch of free land is covered in buildings, blurring the line between landscape and town. In Rimhavens case, most of the buildings are stuck in an early-19th-century-european-style, as is the entire timezone of this part of Caecia.

Geography

Stuck between the great lake and the inner, abandoned part of the city, Rimhaven is in a perfect spot for (mostly illegal) trade. Many of the housings are already floating atop the lake, as any free space on land has long since been covered by red-brick-shindled, two story buildings.

Fauna & Flora

The great lake somehow still holds a plentyfull supply of many different underwater creatures, but other than that theres not much besides stray cats and seagulls. The mafia is widely known for its use of guard dogs, aswell as trained post-service-pidgeons.

Natural Resources

The main object of trade, and source of Rimhavens riches, are whatever illegal shipments the local mafia is sending out, managing, and receiving in this unassuming porttown.
