The bed of dreams

Summary   The bed of dreams is the personnification of the god Kir'Tali. This god, was in an unmemorial past the keeper of the fifth dimension, also known as the dreams dimension.   The fifth dimension is a place where the time isn't linear. You can see many futures and choose the one you want to happen.   But the damaged caused by ancient war made the way to find the true position of the bed unknown.   It is also said that someone with desire of power would be vacuumed to the abyss, a world made of unfulfilled desire and suffering.   Thus, the existence of this dimension rest on the balance between matter and hollowness.
"It is said that Kir'Tali was a god with two faces, one could bring you fortune, opulence and knowledge, while the other could bring you hate, nightmares and hollow."
- Kir'Tali Priest
The bed of dreams legend   Kir'Tali was one of the god who remains after the war of ashes, he was one of the eight second gods. His power represents the balance of the unmaterial dream world, a world unaccessible from the livings with the material one. He was the god who protected the spiritual world from the collapse of Ikaria, the citadel of the ancient gods. After the collapse, the fifth dimension which was the world of spirit, was unstable, Kir'Tali had no choices, he decided to seal the dimension into living world, after that all livings, were now obligated to sleep everynight, to nourish the balance between worlds. But after, Kir'Tali lost his power due to the enormous quantity of energy used to to seal the fifth dimension.    He decided to create an entity called the bed of dreams. This entity would be a portal, to enter the dream world from the material one. He thought that it would be necessary to protect its world from another collapse.   Sadly, Kir'Tali didn't expect that humans would fight for his relic and use it to see their future, indeed the time isn't linear in his dimension. He then decided to create a counter power, to punish human who desire too much power, the abyss.   Even tough abyss creation, Humans were still hungry of the power that the bed could gave them... The power to predict and choose the right future, the power to be the one who would rules everyone...   After many years of research, a woman found its way to the bed, she wanted power to punish mans who disrespected her in the past.  When she finally slept into the bed, she saw everything. She understood what was the true utility of the bed, and saw how much was possible if she unleash its power. The woman had the choice to fullfill her desire, or the choice to a future where she don't unleash the bed's power. After that, she finally decided to fullfill her desires, thinking that it would gave her the power to become a queen.   After coming back to the living world, the woman woke up from its dream, and started to feel weird, like something was not normal.  She then just went out, and saw that the sky was totally black, with absolutely no light at any places.    It was the abyss.   Some dark forms appeared in front of her, and everything she feared became real.  She was voiceless. Everything started to be fuzzy and undefined, it was like shapes were shapeless. She misunderstood the power of bed, and thought that she could be able, to handle it, but she was wrong, the true power of abyss destroyed her soul.   Centuries after this event, none know where the bed remains, but one thing is clear,
"When you come back from the fifth dimension, you already know if you have failed by watching the sky color."
