Shaela is the deity most worshipped by the common people of Meranthis. As goddess of fertility and agriculture, she holds dominion over the harvests and the changing of seasons, love, and the birth of all new life. Halflings consider her their patron goddess, farmers pray to her for good harvest, and lovers seek her blessing in their relationships. She is depicted as a lithe woman clad in greens and browns, with roses weaved into her golden hair. Her symbol is a blooming rose over grain, and the butterfly is her sacred animal.
