Burial Hospital

I came across this site on accident and figured I'd try to use it to keep track of the first Monster of the Week game I'm GMing.   Bleakton is a small quiet town harbored away in the region of Pennsylvania. It was originally built as a camping resort that the residents of nearby mining towns could come to in order to escape the bleakness of everyday life. Once a popular resort town, it’s nearly died off and in the later years has quieted down. Because of its peculiar medical history, most people residing there these days are scholars and retired medical professionals, while the locals who’ve withstood time make do with outdoor activities; hiking, camping, hunting game, etc.   Local legend says that the town used to be home to “Persephone's Kiss”, a rare species of Hypericum, or St Johns-wort, a flowering plant of multiple medicinal uses. The Persephone's Kiss was said to be even more potent and is said to still be growing deep within the local caves. The flower was rumored to be the founder's prime ingredient in the tonics of their time.   As with most small towns in the New England area, Bleakton is chalk full of local legends, and not all are as innocent as a magical flower growing within the woodland's caves. Things have been moving in the shadows for as long as the town has existed and it seems they will continue to do so.
