Wainwright

The Wainwright is TB Dockworks's attempt to redeem itself for many of the mistakes in the design (along with requirements much more reasonable for capital ship of the line) of the MacArthur. Ablative armor, Horacalcum and Abysium augmentations are implemented as in past designs of TB Dockworks to their great advantage.

Power Generation

Harkening back to their roots, TB Dockworks uses an Abysium augmented Gate Heavy power core. Careful design allows for using just about every bit of power available while minimizing space that can be made for other uses.

Propulsion

While the Wainwright utilitizes a simply designed Signal Basic drift engine, TB Dockworks added Horacalcum augmentation to the thrusters to give this ship an edge in maneuvering during battle.

Weapons & Armament

Unlike the MacArthur, Wainwright sports more weaponry, although it is at the expense of some armor protection. This is a calculated risk in the design due to the other design improvements detailed elsewhere.   The capital weapon of the Wainwright is a vortex cannon, a medium range energy weapon capable of massive damage in a single shot. This is supplemented with heavy laser cannons and light ship tethers on port and starboard mounts, an aft heavy fragmentation mine layer, and two turrets with linked persistent particle beams capable of long range energy damage in any arc.   Wainwright is now much more capable than her predecessor in offense in any arc that the gunners may choose and a broadside could be devastating for anything except another capital ship which is exactly what the designers were working towards.

Armor and defense

Somewhat lighter in armor than previous designs, but including the trademark ablative armor that TB Dockworks works into their designs very successfully, Wainwright also has Mk 15 active defenses augmented by Siccatite to provide the maximum defense possible anywhere in the known universe.

Sensors

Wainwright uses the same Mk 7 duonode computer as the MacArthur , but substitute basic long range sensors for more autonomy in the battlefield.

Additional & auxiliary systems

The core bay and crew areas are the same as the MacArthur, modified only to allow useage of the upgraded systems that TB Dockworks was able to use when not hobbled by disparate design requirements. Therefore, she has a medical bay, brig, luxurious guest quarters functioning as a flag bridge and staff quarters, gym and HAC recreation suites for the large crew, a hydroponic garden and breaching and drop pods for close quarter boarder actions.
