Born November 20th, 1756 in a small settlement in the New Hampshire area of New England called Brittlesville to two commoners and was initially named Slick Steele. Had very stern parents. Spent most of his time helping his father. His father had a short temper and would often become aggressive when angered. He would beat Slick as punishment, particularly as he grew older. Slick's mother did little to help the situation and would rather lecture and scold him for misbehaving. He was and still is an introvert, so he secluded himself and didn't really talk to anyone or make friends. He was occasionally picked on for his odd name. He has always hated the name Slick. As he grew older, he began doing more heavy work. On April 3rd, 1776, at the age of 19, Slick died along with the rest of the residents of Brittlesville due to a curse and their spirits were trapped in Brittlesville and the rest of the world walled off from Brittlesville, effectively preserving it in time. In death, Slick felt as though he had no purpose to exist and saw no hope of being revived and became rather depressed and closed himself off from the world even more than in life. In 2010, one of the other residents of Brittlesville found a way out of the invisible wall trapping them inside of Brittlesville. Slick eventually decided to venture outside of Brittlesville himself. In 2015, he met a woman whom he soon fell in love with. At this point, he felt motivated again. He came up with the name Sam by asking the woman what she thought his name should be. in 2017, the curse on Brittlesville was lifted, the residents revived, and the wall around the town lifted. Slick had been in a relationship with the woman for over a year by then and had plans to propose to her. Sadly, she went missing soon before he planned to propose and is presumed to be dead. this threw him into an even deeper depression than before and he further closed himself off from the rest of the world. When being added to current government records, he took the opportunity to legally change his name to Sam. He is currently physically 22 and still single. He is helping to renovate Brittlesville.

In 1993, 2 fleeing murderers found their way into Brittlesville. They ended up getting on Slick's bad side and he killed them out of anger. In 2013, he confronted a human trafficker that he found through one of their victims. They attempted to kill him, however, he was already dead and their efforts failed. Slick ended up killing them instead. In 2015, he met a woman whom he soon fell in love with. At this point, he felt motivated again. He was too intimidated by all the new technology when he reentered the rest of the world in 2010 and avoided having to try to figure it out, but then technology evolved faster than he ever could have imagined and is slowly being integrated into Brittlesville and now he's completely lost when it comes to technology. As of now, he's still avoiding it, but he'll have to figure it out eventually, and he's even more intimidated and overwhelmed by in now than in 2010. He acts as though he doesn't care, but he's secretly self-conscious that he sticks out like a sore thumb because he's so far behind, can't keep up with trends and fads, and doesn't have the greatest or most up-to-date education, especially since he's physically a 22-year-old man.
