Mars is a half-Roman lady, bastard daughter of Sir Ioan of Appleton Thorn, and niece of Sir Amlyn of Winterbourne Stoke. Despite pushes from her step-grandfather Lord Brugyn of Appleton Thorn and being a noblewomen of age, Mars has not adopted the title of 'lady' and often eschews customs and feminine roles, citing the fact that she was named after the Roman god of war. As a young teenager, she ran away from home to fight at the Battle of St Albans. She currently resides at Winterbourne Stoke. She was born in Cheshire, Cambria. She has a deceased half-brother, Asher ap Ioan. Mars is player character and successor of Asher. Her back-up character is Kyffin.
