The Furnace Scorchlands
There is a reason why the Furnace is the worst hell on Brexeamar... Hope. Every man who has rot in here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy... so simple... and like shipwrecked men turning to seawater from uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope...

Purpose / Function
Mainly referred to as the Furnace, the Furnace Scorchlands was the main battleground of the Great War. So much War was fought, and blood drawn on these grounds that it caused a permanent change in the land here. What was once flowering plains is now cracked and barren desert.
The Furnace is now mainly used as hole to throw the most unsavory criminals in that death would just be too good for. Some of the prisoners are innocent (framed by the House) and are put here to be forgotten by the world. The Broken Hill Penitentiary is the only source of civilization in this desert. Most guards here are rumored to have been corrupted by the House but no evidence for these accusations have been found.
