Religion and Theology
The various regions and races each have their own religious beliefs. No one has been able to
conclusively and scientifically prove to everyone which of the many faiths and religions is the true
one, or that all are false. What one person or group sees as proof of their beliefs is explained away
or dismissed by others.
No race has a universally accepted or dominant belief system. Each race arose independently in
several places in the aftermath of the Great Wars, and each region's mixture of races during the
Emergence influenced each other's beliefs. As travel became easier and trading networks
expanded, more belief systems came in contact, and into conflict.
While it is not unusual to encounter an unknown religion or belief system, neither is it normal to only
be aware of a single religion.
Despite (or because of?) the widespread contact of the various belief systems, there is no single
religion dominant worldwide. Any given region, however, may have a dominant belief system.
While some belief systems are intolerant of differing beliefs, most individuals are generally willing
to ignore another's religion ... if the other person is. Even the most devout or fanatical is willing to
overlook the religion of others if the situation warrants.
