Boundary Bay

Nestled along the northwest banks of Lake Huron, Boundary Bay is one of Michigan's oldest towns and was once a major trade hub with Canada. Part of what is known as the tri-town area, Boundary Bay has deep connections with the neighboring towns of Traverse City and Ludington.

Government

Under the guidance of incumbent mayor, Richard Champagne, the Boundary Bay city council is focused on maximizing profits from the recent tourist boom. The council is currently engaged in efforts clean up the town, they have launched a publicity campaign called "Building a better Bay". There have been some notable imminent domain property seizures performed for the sake of "Building a better Bay".

Industry & Trade

Boundary Bay is a port town and an important transfer hub for trade on the Great Lakes. Every year, millions of net pounds of dry bulk goods pass through the town, loaded off boats and onto trucks to be driven south to Steel City and beyond. Much of the docks have been bought up by Sutherland Inc, who have become the largest source of employment in Boundary Bay.
