This article has spoilers for a story I want to write in November's War called The Tiger's Tail.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Were Tigers are hybrids of Sentient Tigers who can speak human languages. They can transform from human form to tiger form. They differ from Sentient Tigers who do not have a human form.
In tiger form, the tiger is a four-legged version.

Genetics and Reproduction

Not much is known, about if two were tigers in tiger form mate or in human form. Their original reproduction was through a ritual that made human slaves, more amiable or likeable to their sentient tiger overlords.
This transformation, allows the human person to stay the age, they were at when they went through the ritual.

Growth Rate & Stages

Human slaves, who go through the ritual to become were tigers are at mental maturity. When they turn into tigers they will be in full-grown tiger form.

Ecology and Habitats

Originally, Sentient and Were Tigers came from the Falkland Islands.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Were Tigers like Sentient Tigers are omnivores regardless of the oral anatomy that makes them look like carnivores.

Common Dress Code

Were Tigers, are naked in tiger form and smart casual light-fitting clothes in human form but will put more clothes on regarding climate.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

One main ritual is The Blood Panther, which is a ritual that heals Were Tigers. When the ritual is finished the Were Tiger takes on the appearance of a panther, which gives the ritual its name.

History

Were Tigers are human beings that were enslaved and then trusted to be tigers to make them more useful in their enslavement. Sentient tigers do not have a human form.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Friendships with Were Tigers are not unheard of, and often happen more quickly between humans and Were Tigers faster than between humans themselves.

Were tigers are built like tigers who live in cold environments, so they are bulky and are like a big bulky tank

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Orange with black stripes. There are no known existences of the white with black stripes.
