Watchtowers
As told by Nal'Draken
Watchtowers are places where guards are sorta trained and given their purpose. This is a big deal with the city guards and other such force that lurks in the streets. When I got to see inside one of these things, I understood why most criminals wanted abandoned versions of them for their hideouts, but I also knew why patrols heavily protected them. They were the center of guards and criminal operations alike. I was always in awe with how busy these buildings were, and which they were always. I remember only one statement that a "Watchman" told me about the Watchtowers.
The Watchtowers are the center for Watchman operations, they are the pinnacle of justice. A watchman's work is never done and we will continue to be busy so long as these fucking streets are filthy!
Alterations
Most changes that happened to the Watchtowers occur with the owner of the building, so a outlaw that has decided to set up shop changes the place to look more like a spy headquarters or maybe a bounty hunter bar. I mostly knew the Watchtowers as large rectangular buildings where most of the guards and patrolmen go to for their orders and discuss what the criminals in that city are doing.
Architecture
The buildings are mostly made of stone, glass, wood, and iron. The rectangular buildings are strategically positions against the walls, so the various owners of the Watchtower can easily go to the walls of a city or town, and back inside.
History
Watchtowers as I knew it have been here since I was born, although I grew up in a massive castle so of course they were going to be there before I was born.
